Thinking about playing sports in college?
Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) student-athletes and their families are invited to a free College Athletics Recruiting Information Session on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m. at Don Coleman Coliseum (1050 Dairy Ashford Road).
The session will provide an in-depth look at the college recruiting process from first contact to scholarship opportunities. Families will learn about recruiting timelines, academic eligibility, the NCAA Eligibility Center, scholarships at every level of competition, communicating with college coaches, building an athletic résumé, social media, NIL updates, campus visits and the important role parents play throughout the process.
The session is open to middle and high school student-athletes and their families. No registration fee is required.
