The Class of 2037 Has Big Dreams—and Even Bigger Hearts

This month, Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) brought two very special groups together for a celebration: our graduating seniors from the Class of 2025 and our brand-new learners from the Class of 2037.

During a photo shoot meant to honor where our students have been and where they're going, we captured more than just great pictures—we captured a glimpse of the future through the eyes of our littlest students. While seniors posed in their caps and gowns, kindergartners proudly held up “Class of 2037” signs. And in between the smiles and snapshots, we took time to talk with our youngest learners about what they think the future might look like.

Their answers were honest, hopeful, and often hilarious—in the best way.

We asked them about their favorite things to learn, and math was the clear winner. Why? “Because it’s fun!” they said with no hesitation. To them, solving problems feels like play—and we think that’s a pretty great start.

But when we asked what really matters most, their answers turned to friendship. Being kind was the Core Characteristics of a T-2-4 Graduate they talked about the most. It’s how they make friends, how they help others, and how they know they’re part of something bigger than themselves. They told us their teachers are kind, too—always ready to help them learn and grow. That connection matters, especially at five years old.

We talked about the future—what they might want to be when they grow up. Their answers centered on helping others: being a teacher, a police officer, or someone who helps catch “the bad guys.” Service was a common thread, and so was the idea that growing up means making a difference.

As for high school? Most weren’t sure what that would be like just yet. But they knew one thing for sure—being on camera, holding signs, and taking pictures (just like the big kids were doing) looked like a whole lot of fun. And when they held up their own “Class of 2037” signs, they understood it meant something exciting—that one day, they’d be the ones lining up to walk the stage, cheered on by the next generation of dreamers.

But for now, they’re dreaming about friendship, fun, and all the possibilities ahead. And we’re dreaming right along with them. Here’s to our incredible Class of 2037. You’ve just begun your journey, but we’ll be right here cheering you on every step of the way.

Have an amazing summer—we can’t wait to see you back in class this August, ready for another big year of learning, growing, and dreaming.

Pre-K Pre-Registration Form (2023/2024)

At Wildcat Way we do our best to group students that pre-register, in classrooms with other students that reside in their elementary school feeder patterns. Pre-registration runs through the end of February.
